Permission to Take a Chance
Sometimes we need permission to do something outside our routine.
To take a jump.
To be uncomfortable.
I’m very much like that.
I don’t need permission to do what I always do.
But I do somehow, and for some reason, need permission to push my boundaries.
I’m not sure why this happens.
But one thing is for sure; no one is handing out permission.
No boss will come to you and permit you to do something you’ve never mentioned before.
So, here’s your permission.
From a random internet blogger.
Here’s your permission to push past your norm.
And stop doing the shit that prevents you from pushing yourself.
This is resilience.
I leave you with this from Winston Churchill – “Success is not final; failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.”
And from Chris Guillebeau, “If plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters.”
